COASTERS

We have to admit that we are a bit slap-dash when it comes to putting out mugs of tea down on a work surface and the studio ends up with brown rings all over the place! It does beg the question - why don't we use one of our mavellously practical yet gorgeous fused glass Coasters?

At molten wonky we make a range of Coaster that include all the colours from the rainbow.  

We have the Jazzy Coaster range which is made using handcut opaque glass layered with clear glass and then glass rods and frit dots are sprinkled over the top creating a rather, well, Jazzy look!!

The Love Heart Coaster range has been around for a while and due to popular demand we have reinstated the design on our new website.  Love Heart Coaster is made by hand cutting an opaque glass love heart from a sheet of glass then over laying another one in a tonal colour. Katie then hand paints a love heart to complete the design on top. Finally a piece of felt is glued to the base to protect your work surface but it also adds depth to the finished coaster.  

Both ranges are made using opal glass which means it doesn't matter if you put them on dark or light worktops, sideboards or desks, they will show off their fantastic colour.

All our Coasters are sold in one of our branded molten wonky boxes, tucked up in white tissue.

Please note that the hand painted heart and the stringers and frits are all scattered randomly and will therefore create a slightly different pattern on each coaster .... now go get the kettle on, we all want a cuppa!!
