As we all know, Covid-19 came to visit us in 2020 and everyone was very keen to wash their hands! At molten wonky we wanted to make a Soap Dish to hold hard bars of soap, goats milk soap being one of Katie's favourites!
Our recycled Soap Dishes are made from off cuts of other products. First we carefully choose a selection of black and grey pieces of glass. These fragments of glass may be transparent or opaque and they are arranged onto a clear glass base. We then add black ribbon glass around the edge as a frame. This gets fired, then put back into the kiln where it gets slumped over a soap dish mould, this creates the dish shape and the shallow ridges on the base that help to stop the soap from sticking to the base.
Our dishes can also be used as trinket dishes or even on your desk to put your paper clips in!
Soap Dish measures 10 x 14cm and comes to you tucked up in tissue paper in one of our molten wonky branded boxes.
This stunning mono-chrome fused glass Soap Dish will look fab at your kitchen sink or in your bathroom, just make sure that it will sit safely, as it may smash if it falls in to the sink or basin.
Please note that each Soap Dish is handmade and is therefore totally unique.
Care for your product
To keep your wonky products looking lovely, wipe them gently with a damp cloth and dry with a cotton tea towel.
Handle your molten wonky products carefully, they are all made from fused glass and are breakable. If this happens please be careful of sharp fragments.

Returns Policy
We know you'll love your purchase but just in case you change your mind you have fourteen days after delivery to return your goods.
The return item must be in its original condition, with all packaging materials, manuals, and any accessories intact.
