Fused Glass Robin Decoration | Wonky Bird Kit

molten wonky glass decoration kits have been put together with your creativity in mind.  We want you to spend time thinking, designing, and creating your fused decorations. Each kit is unique! The Robin Christmas decoration template has been hand cut and each bag of glass will differ, so you can be sure that you are getting a handmade glass fusing kit right from the start!

With this glass decoration kit, you can create a Robin Wonky Bird that measures 10 x 7cm (without the legs). You will receive a beak and tail feathers that you glue to the base. Don't worry - it's ok if they hang off the edge! We will then add dangling black wire legs to finish off your bespoke Robin Christmas decoration.

Everything you need is inside the kit - just add a cup of tea and your imagination!

So, how does it work?

• You choose the kit you want to make; this listing is for a Robin Wonky Bird Christmas decoration.

• We post the kit to you or your chosen recipient. You can add gift wrap and a message if you wish.

• Open the kit box by slicing the underside of the label and unpack onto a clean work surface. 

• You can sort the glass into shapes and colours (some people enjoy this as part of the creative process, but you don't have to!)

• Use the paper supplied and draw around the glass template. Do a simple sketch of your design or go abstract if you prefer!

• Lay the glass template over the design and add some glue, but not too much at a time.

• Add the glass fragments, frits, and stringers however you fancy.

• You can add glass on top of other glass - just make sure it is glued down.

• When you’re done, leave your work somewhere safe to dry for 24 hours.

• Take a picture of your work for reference in case it becomes loose in the post.

• Add one of the stickers to the top of your work so we can put a hanging ring on the top.

• Wrap your Robin Christmas decoration in kitchen roll or paper and pack it back in the box.

• Write your name and return address on the return paper found inside the kit.

• Pack up the box making sure it doesn't rattle. Add the tweezers and any leftover glass from your glass fusing kit.

• Put the box in the white envelope with Katie's address on it.

• Pop it in the post box.

• Once we get your kit back, we will fire your work and add rings and ribbon so you can hang it up.  The Birdy Bird will have coloured wire legs added.

• Your Robin glass art will be returned to you within 2-3 weeks.

• You’ll have a big smile when you get your work back and hang your fabulous decoration in the window to be enjoyed by all!

What is in the Robin glass art kit?

• Instructions on how to make the kit.

• A sheet of paper to do a sketch.

• A bag of PVA glue with a lolly stick to spread it.

• A very generous unique bag of glass frits, rods, and fragments. There will be spare.

• Tweezers to pick up the smaller fragments.

• Clear glass templates.

• Name and return address label to write your details on.
